Dimitra Koveou studied in the English-speaking department of the 3rd Faculty of Medicine of Charles University in Prague. Her professional experience includes services as paid resident in the department of Internal Medicine of the General Hospital of Syros “Vardakio and Proio”, paid resident in the department of Cardiology of 401 General Military Hospital of Athens (being the supervisor of the Cardiology Unit for two years), external partner of the Central Multi-Clinic of Santorini, and external partner in the Central Clinic of Athens. As part of her teaching experience and activities, she is a trainer in Advanced Life Support – ALS, Advanced Cardiac Life Support – ACLS, and European Trauma Course – ETC seminars of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens – Athens Medical School. Today she is a permanent associate of the Athens Medical Centre – Paleo Faliro Clinic, where she is involved in both the Outpatient Clinic, and the Accident and Emergency Department. Moreover, she has her own private medical practice. She knows English, French, Czech and German.
