Dimitris F. Triantaphyllopoulos MD
Dimitris F. Triantaphyllopoulos MD was born in Athens. He graduated with honors from the internationally renowned Semmelweis Medical School. He specialized in Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology at the Center Hospitalier Universitaire Vaudois – CHUV and Hôpital Orthopedique de la Suisse Romande – HOSR in Lausanne, Switzerland under the guidance of Professors Pierre – Francois Leyvraz, and Alain Farron.
His mentor was the Orthopedist, George Kyritsis and the decisive instructor was the Orthopedist, George Maragoudakis, where he collaborated exclusively with him at Tzanio Hospital.
After completing his residency, he worked in various hospitals in England as Senior Registrar and as Consultant and is registered in the GMC register as a Specialist Orthopedics & Trauma Surgeon and bears the title of “Consultant” in the NHS.
In Greece, he is active exclusively in the private sector and is the Director of the 2nd department of Orthopaedics & Trauma of the Athens Medical Group – Peristeri Clinic.
At his department, advanced techniques are performed in the surgery of the knee, hip, shoulder, ankle and hand with arthroscopic or open techniques, while at the same time he directs the Department of Bloodless Orthopedic Surgery.
