Stelios Divaris is a graduate of the University of Patras Medical School. He completed his specialty in General Surgery at the 1st Surgery Department of the University of Athens.
He attended postgraduate training and specialised in Perianal Diseases and Diseases of the Rectum and Anus at St Mark’s Hospital in London, at Elizabeth Hospital in Vienna, and in Salzburg, Germany.
From 1987 to 1994 he worked in public hospitals, and then he started working as a private surgeon. Since 2001, he is one of the founding collaborators of Metropolitan Hospital.
He can treat surgically all conditions related to general surgery, but he is specialised in the treatment of rectum and anus diseases, providing high-quality surgical services for life-threatening diseases, as well as for simpler conditions, such as haemorrhoids, fissures, fistulas, etc. that could disrupt an individual’s quality of everyday life.
